Being able to get your heel over your forehead without leaving the ground is helpful :)

I have no experience in Kung Fu, but I incorporate those high kicks for flexibility and versatility into my bag workout. (Just in case you get in a fight with a left handed boxer who likes to throw hooks from his waist like George Foreman  )

I'm out of practice in many styles. I studied Tae Kwon Do and American Freestyle Karate before moving on to Jiu Jitsu, including Brazilian and Shotokan. After that, worked with Aikido. Then I joined the USMC and did Marine Corps Martial Arts. Once I got out, I studied Krav Maga for a bit, then fell out of practice with it all.

I can't find a dojo around here that isn't about competition. When I work on something, I work on the whole thing, not just the sparring and competition forms. I like taking it as a whole self-defense program, which is why I loved Krav Maga. Dirty, nasty, do what you have to kind of fighting from Israel. It's all about training so hard and so effectively that your body moves instinctively before your brain can get in the way.

I'd love to study some Capoeira at some point, too.

I've been practicing aikido for about five and a half years. Very briefly practiced capoeira until the class was suspended indefinitely. Hopefully the class will start up again; capoeira was a blast.

Systema, Sambo, Muay-Thai, and super small amount of Tae Kwon Do and Kendo(almost no experience). But overall I just practice on making my body safe and at ease. My training on the other hand... is hell, and I enjoy it.
